The best way to see Parga is from a water taxi. When you round the anchorage bay, the whole town appears as a stack of colorful houses climbing the hill toward the old Venetian castle. The waterfront is a bit of a maze, packed with tavernas and shops that get quite busy in the evening. Head up to the castle for the view since it is the best spot to watch the sun go down over the Ionian.
